Leeds Castle, Kent

by tjfc66 on 27th February 2009
Department:
History
Year Group:
Key Stage 1
Venue Region:
South East England
Town:
Maidstone
Summary:
Comments: a good day out from central London - 2 hours each way via minibus. It's a big site so there's a lot of walking to do between the gate and the castle and the lunch area. Fantastic adventure playground and a very tricky mzae, so don't do that unless you have hours of time to look for lost kids! The staff in the castle seem to think that all school children should be silent, not just quiet, but silent, which can be a bit of a pain. But a lot of other staff were very nice.
