Summary:
Excellent trip which my children absolutely loved. Will definately go again.

Plenty of things for children to do. Safari Drive, Sealion Show, Giraffe House, Farm, Minibeast House. All in easy reach so not much walking for the young children.
Transport:
Bullocks
Excellent. Driver very friendly and didn't mind having young children. NB: Coaches will not go through monkey enclosure.
Benefit:
Introduction to animals. Looking at animals and their habitats. For many of my children this was there first look at real animals.
Plus points:
Seeing the giaffes up close, gaining an appreciation for their height.
Stroking the farm animals - all used to being handled.
Sealion show was excellent.

Minus points:
Coaches will not go through he monkey enclosure but there is a coach friendly route so you still see the monkeys without them damaging the coach.
