Summary:
The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe

Today I went to the Lyceum with my school to see The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. We were all excited and wondered what it would be like.
When we got there we went into the auditorium. I was surprised by the size of the room. It was huge. We stayed down on the ground floor but there were three balconies above us. There was also a huge glittery chandelier hanging from the ceiling.
Some of the characters had two parts in the show. The show was about four evacuees who had been sent to live in the countryside. One of them, who is called Lucy discovers the mysterious kingdom of Narnia. It is always winter and never Christmas in Narnia. Before long all four of the evacuees become involved in a quest to save Narnia from the evil White Witch.
I really enjoyed the show and I’m sure most of the people in my school enjoyed it too. Some of the younger children were a bit scared by the sound effects. Overall I think it as a great show and would love to go again.
