Year Group:
Year 3
Venue Region:
East-Midlands
Town:
Welbeck
Summary:
Venue: Harley Gallery, Welbeck
Fantastic staff. Welcomed children, very organised.
Benefit:
It was a workshop where the children had to look in the paintings (George Stubbs) to find characters, landscape, weather and objects and then pool their ideas/findings together. The workshop organiser then weaved their ideas into a story. The children were mesmorised!
Plus points:
Free to enter the gallery.
Children welcomed by staff.
Fantastic exhibition, that the children could relate to.
Well organised.
Interesting workshop that captured the children's imaginations.
Overall:
