Summary:
Definitely worth while. Especially if you don't have the facilities to do the pond dipping, woodland studies etc at school. The kids will learn loads. They do secondary school courses as well.
Venue:
Epping Forest Field Study Center
Extremely well organised and knowledgeable. Very safety conscious.
Benefit:
Structured completely around the national curriculum - you can choose the focus.
Plus points:
Easy for teachers. Staff at the center are very well organised. Our group leader was very knowlegeable.
Minus points:
Was VERY structured. I felt it could have been a little bit more fun. Guides were very good but quite serious.
