Downloadable resources are available from our website.

What are the minimum and maximum group sizes and the free Teacher Ratio?

A group must contain a minimum of 10 people. There is no maximum. Adults are admitted on a ratio of 1:7 students.

Do you have or how do you arrange risk assessment?

Risk assessments are available on our website. Teachers can also arrange a free pre-visit if required.

Do you offer Teacher familiarisation days?

Yes.

What facilities are there for school groups for food and drink, shop etc?

There is a large cafe with indoor and outdoor seating, as well as further smaller outlets located around the Zoo grounds. The shop is located at the main entrance.

Is specific clothing required?

Not unless the group is participating in ZooRopia aerial ropes course, in which case there are specific requirements. Please visit our website for more details.

Do you have first aid on site?

Yes.
