Fun and education are the two things the children will love at Lion Park. Let them discover their own treasure as they Pan for Gold and Gems, whilst finding out what countries the gems originate.
An exciting ‘ Woodland Nature Trail’ gives all members of the family the chance to discover the hidden beauty of the park whilst encouraging the children to learn all about their natural surroundings, the types of trees, flower and wildlife that inhabit this area. We want to help you use your senses, open your eyes and ears so that you can enjoy your environment, look at what’s around you and see what resources nature can provide and most of all how to relax and feel comfortable within Mother Natures embrace.
The freshwater lake is home to the Lion Park Boat Club who regularly grace the waters with there remote control boats. Races are held every weekend (weather permitting) and club members will be only to happy to show you up close the intricate makings of these wonderful machines
