Offers a chance to experience a trip on a canal boat operating in a relatively safe environment where the maximum depth of water is 1m 10cm, there is no current flow, maximum wave height is 2cm and the boat is never more than 2m from the bank.
A chance to learn about the role played by canals in the history of transport through the 18th and 19th centuries. Also offers a chance to visit the ruins of Odiham Castle where King John stayed the night before riding to Runnymede to sign the Magna Carta in 1215.
The boat is licensed by the Maritime and Coastguard Agency to carry a maximum of 50 passengers.

The boat is operated by a crew of four who are all volunteers. The captain holds a boatmasters licence from the MCA. All proceeds go to maintaining and improving the Basingstoke Canal which was restored by volunteers in the 70's and 80's.
