Knowsley Safari Park is a great fun and educational day out enabling children to learn about animals and their habitats as well as being able to see some amazing and exotic animals in an environment where the visitors are in the cage (cars and coaches) and the animals are able to roam free.
Topics covered in the educational sessions range from an introduction to animals through to breeding and conservation, we also have a range of talks and activities for older students studying leisure.
Five mile safari drive, large walk around exhibits, sea lion shows, bug house, children's farm and optional education sessions.

The safari park guide book is advised for a guide to the animals in the park.
optimal group size for educational sessions are 30 pupils, multiple time slots can be booked for large groups. The minimum group size is ten with no maximum group size, small groups are welcome but may not qualify for group rates.

Once a trip is booked and confirmed we allow a teacher form each class a free visit to the site to complete their own assessments.
Restaurant facilities are available on site at a charge. Schools are welcome to bring packed lunches but be advised that we do not have a dedicate covered picnic area. The sea lion building can be opened on request during bad weather to be used as a covered eating area.
Clothing appropriate to the weather conditions is advised this is primarily an outdoor attraction.
First aid available on site from the main office or information centre.
Visitors are welcome to take their own photographs while on site. Permission should be obtained to use any images or text from the parks website or guidebook.
