The Croke Park Experience is open all year, it involves a visit to the GAA Museum, and a behind-the-scenes guided tour of Croke Park Stadium, one of the most historic and modern stadiums in the world.
Croke Park Stadium, holding 82,300, ranks as the 4th largest stadium in Western Europe. It is the National Stadium of gaelic games and of the GAA, and is currently hosting Ireland’s international soccer and rugby matches until 2010.
The GAA Museum celebrates the history and heritage of Ireland’s unique national games of gaelic football and hurling & the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA), Ireland's largest sporting and cultural organization.
The G.A.A. Museum is open throughout the year.
Monday to Saturday: 09.30 to 17.00, Sunday:* 12.00 to 17.00.

The Croke Park Experience offers a unique opportunity to learn more about the history of the Gaelic Athletic Association through guided tours and museum exhibits.
Students will gain an understanding of both Ireland’s national pastimes and the influence of the GAA on Irish sporting, cultural and social life.
The museum houses a vast collection of artifacts including trophies, medals, jerseys and contains over 40 audio-visual shows bringing to life players and matches.
Students can also test their own hurling and gaelic football skills in a specially designed interactive games area in the museum.
The magic of Croke Park is brought to life by the museum's experienced and dedicated tour guides as they guide students behind-the-scenes through the dressing rooms, player’s tunnel, VIP section, corporate levels and, of course, pitchside.
The GAA Museum is happy to cater a visit to individual groups needs - all ages welcome.
A typical visit for all classes includes a short introductory video (15 minutes), an exploration of the GAA Museum (30 - 45 minutes)and a guided tour of Croke Park Stadium (60 minutes).
As part of its primary school learning provision the GAA Museum has two activity sheets on offer to visiting schools, a Trophy Trail for children under the age of nine and a curriculum based Museum Activity Trail for children over the age of nine. The museum also offers a hands-on museum workshop entitled Warriors & Hurlers which focuses on the ancient legend of Cú Chulainn and the origins of hurling. As part of its secondary school learning provision the GAA Museum offers a historical tour of the museum focusing on artefacts relating to Gaelic Games from medieval times up to the creation of the Irish Free State. The GAA Museum also offers a secondary schools teachers resource pack entitled The Gaelic Athletic Association through History and Documents 1870-1920. The pack contains historical fact sheets, a selection of facsimile GAA documents as well as document analysis activity sheets. Minimum group size is 20. Extra discounts available for groups of 40 or more.
Also with every 10 children/students, an adult or teacher is free of charge as they are needed to act in a supervisory capacity.
An eating area can be provided for groups wishing to bring their own packed lunches.

The Croke Park Experience is fully accessible to those with physical disabilities.
