If requested each group is provided with a Guide who will help you gain the maximum benefit from your visit as they guide you around the farm, ensuring you see and take part in all the activities you want to and answering all your questions.

What materials to you provide or suggest groups bring to support the visit?

Free animal feed and a school pack for use back in the classroom

What are the minimum and maximum group sizes and the free Teacher Ratio?

- For pre-booked groups a minimum of 15 paying children
- Under 2's are free
- One adult free with every 10 paying children



Do you have or how do you arrange risk assessment?

We provide our own risk assessment and also invite teachers/group leaders to visit to make their own.

Do you offer Teacher familiarisation days?

Teachers/Group Leaders can request a visit free of charge to make their own risk assessment/undertake a familiarisation visit

What facilities are there for school groups for food and drink, shop etc?

There are plenty of catering outlets on site - opening times are dependent on the time of year. An undercover area to eat packed lunches is available and there are also shaded picnic areas.

Is specific clothing required?

If it is wet it can be muddy underfoot so wellingtons are a good idea. If sunny, then a good factor sun cream.

There is the option for Teachers/Group Leaders at their discretion to take their group into our indoor play area 'Woolly Jumpers'. To ride the slides in this area arms and legs MUST be covered. Height restrictions apply to some slides.

Do you have first aid on site?

Trained first aiders are always on site

Are there any restrictions on photos, copyright etc?

Not if used for personal use only

Additional information.

We look forward to welcoming you to Willows Farm Village. Annual Pass Members may use their membership but must bring their card on the day - Members are NOT included in the minimum 15 paying children.

School Group Pricing

Based on a minimum of 15 paying children: £7.50 per adult and child Under 2's are free 1 adult free for every 10 paying children A guide will be provided free for bookings of £130 or more. For bookings under £130, a guide can be provided for a fee.
